The "Perfect Support Pillow"Doc_with_pillows.JPG

Dr. Paul Bacon couldn't sleep.  He bought every pillow available on the market, and nothing gave him a consistant good night's rest, while giving his neck and head proper support.  So, he set out to develop a pillow that was ergonomically correct, comfortable, and customizable to every person.  After 20 years of research and trials, he is proud to announce that he has completed the "Perfect Support Pillow".

The Boston Globe even published an article describing his quest for the perfect pillow.  To read the article, click here.

The "Perfect Support Pillow" is designed to keep your head and neck in the proper position, while giving you a comfortable nights rest.  It is fully customizable to each person's body type and comfort level.

The pillow is firm enough to support the weight of the head (which is similar to the weight of a bowling ball), so the shoulders do not have to twist and contort to hold the head properly.  The goal of the pillow is for you to sleep with your head and neck aligned with your lower and middle back (to have your spine to be straight).  In our society, people tend to prefer pillows that are soft and allow the head to sink in.  The weight of the head is then borne by the shoulder girdle, not by the pillow.

With the "Perfect Support Pillow" (and any pillow for that matter), it is recommended to sleep on your side.  For several reasons, back sleeping is not ideal for the human body, and stomach sleeping is even worse.  It is also recommended that you put a smaller pillow or foam pad between your knees while side sleeping.
